Every price below includes Japanese consumption tax. Extensions add ¥2,000 to any essential service.

Yes. Miao Nail Asakusa is a private, one-on-one salon at 3F, 1-36-11 Asakusa. One nailist looks after you from choosing the design to the final top coat, and works with only one guest at a time — so your visit is quiet and never rushed.

Do you offer spa pedicures or foot massage?

No. Miao Nail Asakusa is a nail-only salon: gel nails and nail art for hands, gel color for toenails, and removal. We don't offer foot baths, scrubs, callus removal, massage, eyelashes or any other beauty treatment — just nails, by one nailist.

How much does a gel manicure cost in Tokyo?

At Miao Nail Asakusa, a one-color gel set is ¥6,000 on natural nails and ¥8,000 with extensions. All prices include tax. Nail art starts at ¥9,000.

What is the difference between Simple, Premium and Luxury nail art?

Simple covers accents on up to 4 nails (¥9,000). Premium adds character art and detailed designs on 4 nails or more (¥12,000). Luxury is a full intricate set across all ten nails (¥15,000). Our gallery shows examples of each.

How long does a nail appointment take?

A one-color set takes 45–60 minutes on natural nails, or 90–105 minutes with extensions. Nail art takes 90–180 minutes depending on the design.

Can I bring a photo of the design I want?

Yes, and we prefer it. Send your reference photo when you message us so we can confirm the exact price and time before your visit.

Can you remove nails done at another salon?

Yes. Removal is ¥2,000 for natural nails and ¥4,000 for extensions, including nails done elsewhere.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, when we are free. Miao Nail Asakusa is a private one-on-one salon with a single nailist, so if a guest is already in the chair you could be waiting 1–3 hours. Message us on WhatsApp before you come up to the 3rd floor and we will let you know if we can take you now.

Do I need to book in advance?

Not required, but booking is the only way to be sure of a time. Miao Nail Asakusa has one nailist working one-on-one and nail art takes 90–180 minutes, so walk-ins are taken only when the chair is free. Order Made designs must be reserved 2 days ahead. Send your design photo on Instagram or WhatsApp to book.

Can my friend and I get our nails done at the same time?

Not at the same time. Miao Nail Asakusa is a private one-on-one salon with a single nailist, so friends are done one after another. Two one-color sets take about 2 hours in total; two nail art sets can take 3–6 hours. Tell us how many of you when you message so we can book the times back to back — many friends take turns exploring Asakusa while the other is in the chair.
